The number that stood at to me as the most likely to be the serial number is: A 42163 but if you can point me in the right direction, i'd take a look for you. Were the brown caps prone to leaking Is it a good or bad thing that these were replaced Excellent vintage condition early 1969 Fender Silverface Dual Showman tube amp head with tremolo and reverb. i think a good cleaning would fix that right up. There’s a showman reverb for sale at a decent price and in good shape. it doesnt connect to the reverb side very well. The original foot switch is included as well. The preamp tubes are a collection of RCA tubes but the writing seems to be scratched off so i dont know what the tube type is. Ive got a set of NOS JAN Phillips 6L6gc's in there right now as the main tubes but i also have a set of JJ's ill include with the amp. Re verb is lush and the vibrato can go from intense to subtle. The bass is thick, the highs are pronounced and the mids cut right through.
I've had it for about seven months and it sounds wonderful. I really want to get back into the digital photography hobby again and since i cant afford to do both at the same time, i kind of have to piece out items in my inventory. Alright guys, i hate to do it but i have to.
